We offer a variety of services to both commercial and residential clients.  Just as no piece is alike, no job is alike.  If you have an idea for a project, we would love to hear about it.  We pride ourselves on working closely and communicating effectively with clients in order to bring their visions to life.  Our current lead time for custom projects/commissioned pieces is two weeks.

We feel there is no better way to symbolize the beginning of married life together than by incorporating materials that have beautifully and gracefully stood the test of time while weathering countless storms.  Our crosses tell a story of care, dignity, love, simplicity, and strength.  They are beautiful alone, can be draped in flowers, or surrounded by candles.  After the wedding, we work with you to repurpose it into something meaningful for your home that you can pass on to future generations.

Home is where the heart is, and each piece of work has heart in spades.  Our materials have already enjoyed a long and rich history, even before we draft an initial design concept.  Have materials that hold sentimental value to you?  We are happy to incorporate them into something functional that your family can enjoy for years to come.

We are very obviously drawn to the character, charm, and history of old materials.  One thing that sets Piece of Work apart is that we source and meticulously collect all reclaimed materials ourselves.  We like getting our hands dirty and don’t shy away from an honest day's work.  We’ve helped so many clients remove aged and potentially dangerous structures from their properties, carefully transporting everything from lumber to 100-year old nails back to our shop.  These materials have a story to tell, and because we are part of the process from beginning to end, we can help tell it.

You’ve likely heard the old adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.  We live and breathe this at Piece of Work.  While building is extremely gratifying for us, the most exciting part is the creative process that occurs before we even set foot in the shop.  We love finding new and inventive ways to transform salvaged materials in to appealing, functional pieces.

Many clients come to us with an idea in mind along with the skills necessary to complete the work themselves.  In this case, our extensive inventory of reclaimed architectural pieces (metal and wood), industrial salvage, flooring, and lumber is yours to shop.  Because we do our own demo and salvage, we love staying connected after the sale to provide helpful advice.  We also love seeing the amazing transformations our materials go on to make!

With a creative eye toward your goal aesthetic, an innovative approach to space and storage challenges, and the proven ability to work within a desired budget, we provide beautiful and incredibly unique solutions to business owners.  We are committed to changing the way businesses approach sustainable design and have even salvaged materials left over from previous operations in order to keep costs and waste low.
